Where to Brunch in Fairfield County

brunchBreakfast is the most important meal of the day, right? Pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit… But let’s face it, most days us moms are grabbing a granola bar or half eaten piece of fruit as we rush out the door each morning. And let’s not forget about that cold cup of coffee left sitting on the counter that’s been reheated multiple times. If your kids are like mine, they ask for snacks non-stop until lunchtime rolls around and they need to be fed again. Sandwiches? Soup? Mac-n-Cheese? You name it and they are asking for it.

That’s why I love the weekends. It’s when we slow down (just a little bit) and don’t need to rush. We do more things together as a family. In between the birthday parties and soccer games it’s always fun for us to go out to eat. So the invention of Brunch solves the mealtime battle. I mean a combo of breakfast and lunch leaves everyone happy. Especially this mommy, who doesn’t have to do any dishes afterwards!
