Winter Fun with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers

I’ve been trying to avoid it, but it’s time to face the harsh reality that winter is upon us. No more throwing the kids outside without what feels like an hour of bundling. No more packing up the car and heading to the park for the afternoon. Feeling a little stir-crazy? With two three year olds and a 3 month old at home, I feel your pain.

Fortunately, I’ve got a great weekend activity for everyone to enjoy… a Bridgeport Sound Tigers game!

Recently, my family and I attended 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon “Princess Day” game and everyone had a great time. My husband enjoyed the game, my three year olds enjoyed the princesses, balloon animals, snacks and music, and my little guy had a great snuggle in my ergo. I personally enjoyed two hours of no whining, fighting or begging for screen time. It was a win-win for all!

Whether your family is into hockey, or honestly just looking for a fun indoor activity this winter, I absolutely recommend a Sound Tigers game. There is something for everyone, including some fun upcoming theme nights. The Sunday 4-Pack option is a great deal. At only $89 it includes:

  • Four (4) tickets (Blue Zone)
  • Four (4) hot dogs or pizza slices
  • Four (4) soft drinks
  • Four (4) bags of chips
  • Two (2) Autographed Pucks

Thanks Sound Tigers, we’ll definitely be back!

Emma is a stay-at-home mom to her identical twin daughters, Charlotte and Grace (born March 2016) and her son Crosby (born July 2019). She currently resides in Fairfield with her children and her husband Mike. Emma is originally from northeastern CT and worked and lived in Stamford and New York City as an attorney until her daughters were born. Though she misses certain aspects of city life, there really is no better place then living by the beach. When she is not being hounded for snacks or trying to pry her kids off the highest point of the playground, she enjoys going out with friends, trying new restaurants on date nights, binging Bravo and staying active.
