People at an outdoor concert. After my family, music is one of my true loves. Along with the summer season come many opportunities for outdoor concerts in Fairfield County. Many nearby towns have great outdoor concert venues with various musical offerings.

Alive at Five – Stamford (Mill River Park)

Alive at Five has been around since I was younger and was always one of the most anticipated summer concert series. It has greatly evolved since it started; this year, it is bigger and better than ever! Some big names you will find there this summer are Lil Jon, All Time Low, Fitz and Tantrums, and Ashanti. You can buy tickets to stand-alone shows or a pass that will get you into all four!

Greenwich Concert Series

Greenwich has an abundance of outdoor concerts that happen during the summer. These concerts are housed in three beautiful outdoor locations; Binney Park, Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, and Island Beach Ferry.

Levitt Pavillion – Westport

Established by the Westport community in 1973, the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts is a unique organization that exists to provide abundant free access to the performing arts. They present and support a diverse and dynamic spectrum of artists from around the county, the country, and the globe. They preserve and cultivate an outdoor community destination where people of all ages and backgrounds are always welcome and encouraged to get to know the arts, nature, and each other.

Calf Pasture Beach – Norwalk

You need a beach parking pass to get into the concerts at Calf Pasture, free for Norwalk residents. If you are not a resident of Norwalk, a parking pass will cost $42 Monday through Friday and $72 on Saturday or Sunday. After 5 p.m., the cost will be $30 per parking pass.

Waveny Summer Concert Series – New Canaan

The Waveny summer concert series is free admission. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a night of good music and relaxation!

Sherman Green Concert Series – Fairfield

The After Dark summer series runs from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. and is sponsored by many local businesses.

There are wonderful hidden gems in and around Fairfield County, where you can find an abundance of outdoor music happening at all times. Even your favorite restaurant may have a band or two come out on weekend nights. Have a great summer, and enjoy finding the music that moves you!
