Aarika is a full-time working mom who just moved to Trumbull in May 2014 with her husband Kris, daughter Emmy {July 2013}, and Shiba Inu furbaby, Meiko. She is expecting her 2nd daughter in December 2015. She has lived in Fairfield County since 2010, but is originally from Ulster County, NY. Aarika and Kris fell in love at a UConn football game in October of 2005, married in June of 2012 and expanded their duo to a threesome in July of 2013. In addition to being a mom, she is a CPA by day, as well as enjoys being a health and fitness coach, amateur chef and baker, and binge watching TV shows on Netflix.

Shannon has lived in Fairfield County, CT for most of her life and currently lives in Monroe. She has a daughter L {September, 2008} and a son B {May, 2012}. Shannon balances being a wife and mom with working 186 days out of the year as a special education teacher. Thank goodness for vacations, summer break, and snow days! You can be sure that she fills those days with as many amazing activities and outings that she can think of to make up for the time that she is at work. In a distant life, way before babies, Shannon was an aspiring actress and musician. You can sometimes still find her leading sing-a-longs with her guitar at the kids’ playgroups or at her daughter’s school.

Maria S.

Meet Maria! She’s a full time mom/teacher/wife/daughter who feels pulled in too many directions! Her older son Michael took over 24 hours to be born, and at 6 months old was diagnosed with allergies to dairy, eggs, soy, shrimp and wheat… all after exclusively nursing because she was SO SURE that would help him be a healthy kid. Luckily at age 1, he began to outgrow some of his allergies. Fingers crossed the others will soon follow because that plus a husband who doesn’t eat any veggies and Maria always battling her weight makes for 3 meals to prepare every night. Luckily Christopher, her younger son is a cooperative eater…so far! Unfortunately sleeping, however, is minimal with a baby these days. No wonder she’s so dang tired! It’s a good thing she loves to cook and doesn’t require more than 7 hours of sleep since she often gets far fewer than that. She is addicted to Scandal, Nashville, How to Get Away with Murder, most cooking shows and Jane the Virgin. Most nights she’s content to surf Pinterest and pin way too many crafty pins she will never do.

Currently wrangling a 5yr old, 3yr old, and 1yr old in New Canaan, Erika does her best to stay sane playing at the park, running with the stroller, looking for more caffeine, browsing at the wine store, and leaning on fellow Mommy friends. She and her husband live in Norwalk with their daughter, Abbie (born 2012), and son, Charlie (born 2014). Nikki has called wonderful Fairfield County her home, her entire life. Growing up on a campus of a private school in Greenwich, CT Nikki swore to her educator parents that she would never be a teacher. Well life has a way of repeating itself and now Nikki and her amazingly supportive husband are happily working at a different independent school in Greenwich. A recovering “type a” perfectionist she is learning to let go of her color coding, alphabetizing ways and embrace the mess. Helping her enjoy life’s everyday messes are her two precocious girls Sofie (11/15/11) and Keira (9/7/13). Nikki loves all things mommy cliché including but not limited to walks on the beach, running, reality TV, organizing closets, wine, chocolate and having her kids help her out in the kitchen.
