About 2 years ago, Fairfield County Moms Blog founder, Amy, wrote a post comparing our contributors to the “Real Housewives” found on Bravo TV – without the drama of course! Over the past two years, you, our readers, have gotten to know each one of us through our posts. Each contributor willingly shares their lives through personal mommy experiences, perspectives, and local knowledge. But oddly enough, many of our contributors did not know one another until a few days ago. We finally got together to talk business, share some delicious snacks and treats provided by FruLala in Norwalk, and get to know one another a little bit better. In order to do this we had a Favorite Things Party!
Each contributor brought along their number one favorite thing (3 of the same item – but possibly different colors, styles, etc.) with a $10 limit. We put our names in 3 different jars so each of us would go home with three new favorite things. Sharing our favorite things helped us get to know one another better and discover new products that make our days as mommies a little bit easier and a lot more enjoyable. Overall the night was a huge success! We shared mommy stories, FCMB news, and we all went home happy with some new favorite things! But, most importantly, we made some great new friendships…offline.
