Body Back Week 7: I Can See the Finish Line

0

A woman standing on the finish line.I am excited to share all of my results and final measurements with you next week.  So, I thought I would use this week’s post to reflect on all I’ve accomplished and learned through my Body Back experience.  This experience has taught me so much about myself, and I can’t believe we’re almost at the end.  With only two sessions to go, I can see the finish line.

Here’s what I’ve accomplished and what I’ve learned:

  • I’ve conquered getting up at 5:00 a.m. two days a week for almost eight weeks to join an amazing group of women as we plank, push up, and sweat our way through the first hour of our day.
  • I’ve learned that I AM a group exerciser.  Prior to FIT4MOM Stroller Strides, I was very anti-group exercise.  Stroller Strides led me to Body Back which has led me to realize that I cannot go it alone.  I NEED someone to push me and others to help keep me motivated.
  • I’ve conquered my closet, fitting into clothing that hasn’t comfortably fit for a very long time {probably too long to admit!}.
  • I am stronger.  Plain and simple.
  • I make better food choices every time I feed myself.  I focus on clean eating and whole foods.  I can read the entire label of any food product I consume.
  • I’ve learned that if I want to continue with my success, I need to continue working hard and keeping my eating clean.
  • I’ve learned that this process, changing myself, is ongoing.
  • I’ve learned that by conquering my fears and gremlins with Body Back, my family will be inspired to live a healthful life.

Finish line?  Nah, this is just the beginning!
