The 15 Stages of Putting a Toddler to Bed

My almost 2-year-old daughter can be deliriously tired but will still insist she is NOT ready for bed. That’s when the “fun” begins. Here is what our evening typically looks like.

Stage 1: Announcing it’s time to start getting ready for bed. Yay!giphy-1

Stage 4: Negotiation doesn’t go over well. Put mommy foot DOWN. It’s bedtime.giphy-4

Stage 6: Happiness again. Heading upstairs for the perfect hallmark moment bedtime routine.giphy-6

Stage 7: Bath time, which is a big hit…for now.giphy-7
