Despite what many might think, children and adults all across the globe suffer from learning disabilities or issues. The term “Learning Disability” refers to difficulties in the way information is processed in the brain. The term “Learning Issues” refers to issues that occur as a result of difficulties in motor function, hearing or visual impairment, or attention and memory issues. With all of the possible obstacles out there, it is likely that at some point in your life you will raise, work with, become friends with, or work for someone with one of these conditions. Raising awareness about the issues and knowing where to find help can be difficult to navigate. This is especially true for many of these issues, as they often go undiagnosed until children reach school-age. This post is dedicated to providing some information about learning concerns and where to find help and further information. The more you know…Learning Challenges Revealed

  1. Are there more resources in the Danbury part of Fairfield County? As a mom who lives over there with a child with a disability, it would be really helpful to have resources closer to home. Thanks in advance!
